If you know the answer plz bother to respond me. What will be the date of application received in my case when I had sent the application package on 22 April but now CIC asked a form IMM 5540 to complete and send again? Will the application received date change now or it will be counted from 22 April itself??

I have a question. I received ma AOR on 28th may, our representative received da email. Da online status shows decision made for approval nd dey sent a letter on 29th may, hope i vil b receiving it soon. Da question is dat i hav seen in da forum ppl say dat ol emails fromNDVO are sent on applicants email id, bt as per my knowledge in ol da forms in da dat v fill dere ws no column asking for applicant email. It ws just in additional form where is ws asked for my husband's address nd email bt nt mine, so m bit confused dat where vil NDVO snd AOR2??? Cn anyone tell me plz. Thanks.

We used a consultant to process our papers.

In April 2014 they sent my forms in Canada.

May 23 I recieved acknowledgement of application and got the application Number.
May 30 I got the SA.

Hey bishista I m pretty sure that they make it from the date you submitted your file so the 22nd like gagan has said.

It's good we got some traction taffy and I have not heard anything since we submitted our profiles I submitted on the 9th and I m still waiting they received it on the 10th

Now it is 55 days! Anyway, working on 10th from 4th April, its a remarkable pace. Let's hope they will accelerate the works now-onward.

We got our AOR June 5th ... still awaiting sponsor approval.

Taffy, strange that ours was submitted one day later and we already have AOR. Hope your AOR+SA comes soon.

Hey bishista I am pretty Sure it should be according to the time line u sent in the original app make sure u send in the form Asap use registered mail if possible. I think the more senior members might have a better idea on this if anything call in the cic call center and ask them.

Eric and Linda same thing they have received my file on the 10th as well so let's see I think there is no order in the way they pick up the files. Taffy and I should hear something soon and I hope they pick up the pace so slow good luck for the SA.

They are working on applications received on the 10th now so let's see we have to hear something today or by next week latest

Jay your app is through the Ottawa office? We are waiting so long for the mississauga office hope we get something I m really loosing patience wen the file transfers the wait is so big again I don't know what they are doing

The sponsor application goes through the Mississauga first. After the PR application will be sent to Ottawa.
