Hello Everyone,

I am almost done with the paper work! I've been working for this day&night for almost a month now. I hope to send our application by the end of this week. Best of luck to everyone who is applying!!

I will post my timeline once I send our application to Mississauga. Thanks so much for initiating this!!

The application has been submitted via Canada Post and will arrive tomorrow. We will verify arrival via tracking.

After months of working on this what a relief it is to know that it is on the way.

Good luck all. Looking forward to spending the next 12+ months getting to know you all and hearing about your process.

Sent ours out today . spousal ( husband ) I am a dual citizen in Canada and the U.K. .
medicals done 30th Dec 2013
My husband is in the U.k. so living apart.

Was so nervous, my stomach has been in knots all day, and this is just the start .

Sent our outland application on Friday Feb 4 and received an email today that it was signed by a person in the mail room. WOO HOO! Let the waiting begin.
The application took us about 6 months to put together including going for the meds.
I feel a wait off my shoulders ;D but also nervous that I forgot something. :o

Woo hooo... I know what you mean, I just realised today that I forgot to put the type of sponsorship on my envelope and it's making me nervous!! Have we screwed up? aaarg

hey, I have a quick questions for all those already sent the file. What was weight of your file? Seems like i have few lbs of file.

Just wondering, is that all the file for spouse visa are heavy like mine? or i m doing something different.

thanks for answering

Hi Everyone!

I am ready to send our application just one thing that is bothering me. Have you had your emails, chat history, text messages etc translated by a sworn translator? I translated them myself, thinking that they are unofficial documents. But I am not sure...

My package weighed about 5 pounds and it cost $38 to send Xpresspost with a signature from Vancouver yo Mississauga.

I think if you translated it yourself it should be fine. They are more
Looking at dates and timeline of communication rather than what you actually talked about. I think you only have to proffessionally translate documents like birth certificates etc.

We finally mailed ours out today Via UPS!

Class: Family / Spouse - Outland
Visa Office: London
Application sent from Canada: 10-April-2014
Meds Done: 07-March-2014

My package was signed for today . Mine was about 2.8lbs .We tried to get as much as we could but we have only been together a year so not that easy .Lets hope its enough .It doesn't help when we both hate having our photo's taken . We got the big things such as joint bank accounts , life insurance polices, photos with family . Letters from family, wedding photos, trips we have done together , all our flights information . No point worrying what will be will be.

I just hope i the sponsor don't have to move back to the u.k. after being here 28 years to be with my husband.

Spreadsheet updated.

Guys please let us know any update your file. so that we can enter in Spreadsheet and monitor and compare the progress.

Please check the Spreadsheet and let me know the missing information, so that i can update the sheet.

thanks...have a gr8 Weekend

I know what you mean. We struggled with the same issue. How much is enough? How much is too much? I think as long as you did your due diligence and included as much relevant proof as you can, you'll be ok. It's about proving that the relationship is genuine, and that doesn't require 300 photos!
