Finally!!!

I sent my file today, hopefully deliver tomorrow. After more then 2 months of our Marriage. Finally all the required documentation\proof completed.

Now Waiting period starts. Check E-CAS status\emails everyday. I remember my days, when i applied for PR, I checked E-CAS status and emails like every hour.

It will be fun again.

Hi Everyone,

I sent our application around March 31st from Beijing and it was received by CPC-M on April 2nd according to DHL.

My wife did the medical back on February 22nd but it took time getting the police record check and the notarized documents. In China many things just take a little longer as the applicant may only apply for these things in their birth city and not in any other cities around the country...

Once approved, my application will go to Beijing.

I didn't think you could check anything until you get SA approval ,then you get a client number you can refer to .Am i missing something . I am panicking a bit because i have lost my email for 30 days due to security reasons .

No, You are not missing anything. You are right. Once we got AOR and then SA with client ID. and then after few days e-cas status will update.

can i ask, why u lost your emails from last 20 days?

Hi singla2856, just a question about the client ID. I am the sponsor and I already have a Client ID from my PR and Citizenship applications in the past. Does this client ID refer to that one or will that be a brand new one for the "sponsored person"??

New Client will be issue to your spouse. it will be different from one you have. everyone should have unique client id to process the file by CIC.

Your Sponsorship approval email will have file # and Client ID related to you application.

I have actually been shut out out of my emails for 30 days . I went back to the U.k to see my husband.When i returned i logged into my computer at work . It asked for my pass word and wouldn't except it . It then asked me to create a new password then told me i had to wait for 30 before it could be re instated . I am useless on computers so no idea what i did . I have set up a new email but i already sent off my application . I was able to track my application to Mississauga, but thats it . They have my old email address .

I am applying through the Sydney office, sent in the application on April 4th via Australia Post International Courier Express, and the tracking said it was received on April 9th. I did my medical on April 1st.

The only thing missing in the application was the USA police check, on advice from the Sydney office we sent the application anyway and will forward the police check when it arrives (they said: "Yes you can submit the application however please enclose a note to say you are in the process of obtaining the FBI certificate. You may send it to our office when it is available.")

My File was delivered this morning by Canadapost in Mississauga. Let's see what happen next.

Look like "Kysorb" will get the AOR first, AS his file delivered on April-02-2014.

Believe it when I see it.

The only complication with mine is that i am a natural born Canadian however I have lived and worked in China for the past 3 years. My contract is up in August and I intend to move back to Canada with my wife as soon as i can after that, Beijing is quite quick with applications so I pray we can have our first "real" Christmas together with my family
