I do not think it will hurt, if it will be expired later, they should request you send an updated one.

My opinion is to take and the new job and inform immigration dept. ASAP, but it won't affect your sponsorship too much because the requirement for your income is to secure the sponsored person will not go for social assistance.

I am getting paid from a Corp. (100% owned). If employment letter needed as self-employed in spouse sponsorship appl.? thanks.
