I never noticed that before. Ours is saying to 2014-11-04. I don't remember if it changed over time or not? We are awaiting DM as well. Weather it means someone looked at the file on that date and made sure the E-cas was up to date or if it was handed off to an officer I don't know...

You would think so through logic but I think the answer is probably no now. I think you have to get that letter saying AIP then you are through stage one of stage two. The online system has always been problematic as it is hard to relate to what is happening. I think, but don't know for sure...

And because everyone gets confused here Stage one sponsorship approval is not AIP. AIP occurs after they confirm they have all the documents in the PR file and it looks good. AIP is step one of Stage 2. crazy.

i agree and if anything a marriage after applying as common-law would seem a bit suspicous to me. I would also say getting pregant during this process might also raise some flags. I would apply and keep everything the same until it is all over. Don't rock the boat and bring any undue notice.

If you look at the 2012 thread people on there are getting DM now so I think they are just really slow. I think(but don't know) they are still sending out emails as logic would state they would have to inform the applicants of such a change. don't be paranoid.

Apparently not. However for you piece of mind you can call CIC and they will give you a date that action has to be taken on your file. Not that it always happens but it supposed to. It says right in your file action to be taken by..such and such day

If you look at the 2012 inland thread there are still people getting DM there which is discouraging. I wonder if that is CIC-V or CIC-M...crazy. At least there is some DMs happening.

Our lawyer told us it looks better to CIC if you maintain legal status over implied status so that is what we have done. You do it online and it is quick so easy to do.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

They don't seem to be giving out DM anymore. Not since the move has there been anyone who gets DM right after. However as a suggestion if you phone CIC you can find out from the notes on the file when they have to next ACT on the file. They have a note saying by what date the next action...

The simple answer is no. They will send out a form letter if they want them redone. All my knowledge comes from my immigration lawyer not something I am assuming unlike other people on here. The other person on here asking if they redo should redo their medicals as they got a form letter...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

WE did ours twice. they recieved the first one then requested a second one. Some officers do. Better to do it and over do it than not do it and have it a reason for denial. We have a lawyer who said to redo it.

As i said before same with us with DM. Everything is in place and checked off. Someone just has to sign off on the file i guess. I suspect that the agents cannot do this and a manger has to. If there is less staff as seems to be the case and more files then it takes longer for a manger to...

Butting in. There is no snail mail. you print out what you have and take it to or mail it too the medical people depending on your province. In BC you can fax it.

do your own medical immediately. Unless they are coming with you on the applicaiton they don't do the medical. You will get another letter which you need for your medical. If you don't get it within a week phone them. it has a number on it the doctor needs to do your medical. ACS is blowing...
