Finally received a reply to an email I sent a month ago. It didn't say much, but at least I know our application is there.

Hi Marcopolocan and Yannie, We've sent 2 emails now, one "case specific" to the address they provide and one to the address you listed Marcopolocan and have not heard a word back. I find it very frustrating the inconsistency in processing of files. I feel like they open them and say....oh...

Yannie, I completely understand, our medicals and police clearances expire in January and March is our outset date. Soooooo frustrating.

Dawndarkharp, we sent a case specific inquiry email changing our address in October, we've never heard a reply from Sydney. It is really crazy making!

Hi yannie, My husband has a son who would be considered a dependent child (even though he's 19). He's not coming to Canada, but we had his police check and medical done as requested. Maybe the children are the difference in processing???

Congrats everyone on moving forward. I, however, am starting to lose my mind. We applied back in March and E-cas is still sitting at application received in Sydney. We sent them an email notifying of an address change and asking a question and rec'd a generic "we'll send this on to Sydney"...

Is he American? There is always a chance that immigration can deny entry into Canada. The last time my husband entered (from Australia), I made sure I was with him to answer any questions they may have. If you will have already applied, and can produce the receipt, this may prompt them to give...
