they don't really mention the interview. they just ask for passport and then email you to say a decision has been made congrats

Good news, We got our sponsor approval last night. It was sent from the ottwapilot email. So it seems our file was transferred there to assist with the end of year influx. Onto the next stage of processing

Hi Mel,
Don't worry too much, you should get sponsor approval any day now. I would assume that CIC would be a few days behind given the Christmas holidays. Once you get sponsor approval, the package will get sent to Sydney. Once Sydney receives it they will send you an email and a link to track the application with a new UCI #. I am the most anxious person and have checked it everyday since ...lol.

No- no email. Just 'Decision Made' on e-cas. I also knew it would only take a couple of days to post the copr as I already in Australia, and opted for 'regular mail'- so not sure if that also sped up the process. Soon, rachiy!

I emailed the Sydney office to see what form of mail they used as i provided a UPS account. They replied saying that '
This application has been finalised. The dispatch information is as follows: Posted on : 21 JAN 2013, Regular post.'

According to the Aussie Post website it should take approximately 3-10 days to get to Canada so i expect it any day now, and i really hope before the end of this week as i will be flying to Las Vegas and would be great to Land on the way back in.

Hello fellow Kiwis and Aussies!

Has everyone on here applied inland or outland?

Am just doing my application now, common law sponsorship-outland I hear is the way to go.

I am on an IEC visa (NZ 1 year) which expires in October.

If my PR has not come through by then, do I have to change my status from worker to visitor and how do I do this? Also has anyone had to submit finger prints for their police check?

Another question-

Outland common law sponsorship- I've seen a couple of threads regarding the additional family.

My Canadian partner is sponsoring me and noone else, but do I need to put down all my family members? Parents? Siblings? regardless of the fact they all live and will stay living in NZ?
