Just keep trying. It seems that the server is on and off. My friend was able to submit hers yesterday online.

Although the website is saying 78 for online and 82 days for paper for WP - New employer. It seems that the actual time for the online WP is around 50 days!!! Keep on trying b/c online is just so much faster!! I had no choice but to submit the paper application. Sigh

Heyy just want to follow up your situation. Can you re-apply for your PGWP even though it was more than 90 days upon your graduation? Or it does not matter since you did submit your application once on time? Did you apply online or through paper? Thank you!

Did you call again to at least see if the email has been forwarded? May I ask if you applied online or through paper? According to the CIC website, they are still on Oct 10 submissions.. It seems that the time is not so much reliable.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I now know that you just have to keep on trying to send the application! I gave in a while ago and I just sent in my paper application. I am inside Canada so I just know that my WP will be processed in Vegreville, Alberta.

Heyyy with regards to the spousal open work permit, what do we have to provide to prove our common-law relationship other than the CL declaration form? My common-law partner is a US citizen but i am from China with a valid TRV to Canada. Is it possible for me to apply for my open WP under his SP...

i would think it depends on the program only. i have some ib credits and get my bba degree in 3 years. however, on my school letter, it just says "i have completed all the requirement for a bba degree" and my adviser says that cic will assume a bba degree takes 4 years to complete.

Hm... Mine is till June 30, 2013 and I was able to submit it... I just cant sign the online application. So frustrating.

My friend managed to submit her PGWP application online today. And after 4 hours, she received a confirmation email from CIC.

I believe it takes 3 business days. The more people email CIC, the faster they will get on it. I give up, I mail out my paper package.

Oh No!! Due to the stupid unrealiable online system, I am applying for my PGWP by PAPER (I know, it sucks....) on Jan 4th ,2013. If I were to submit the same application online as well, does anyone know what would happen? Fingers crossed. It is taking longer and longer.

According to the HR manager, there were 350+ applications, 50 for the first-round, and 25 for the second-round. They hired 12 in the end. I feel like it is a hard argument as you can always say there must be a Canadian who is more suitable.
