hi all
now i am inside Canada. this January 1st i applied for open work permit through on line application procedure. web site conformed that my application submitted.
but to day i received email to my personal account you got new message from cic.ga canada. it comes from donotreply@cic.gc.ca e mail address. it says tat to view my message go to mycic account. the problem is when i logged on to that site no new messages on it. it got only one message that my application conformation message. when i check if there are additional documents need it shows all documents provided .

so any ones know what it happens . any experience with this messages. if my case approved are they mail to me some PIN number.

or need to call cic.ca to resolve this problem

I am also in the same boat. Yesterday I also received a message from donotreply@cic.gc.ca, however I am not able to see a new message under my accout. Please let me know if you find an answer for this issue.

same problem here also. which date you apply for open work permit. i applied on January 1st.
i think after applying i got only message in mycic account.that message not come to my g mail. i think that message late sent to my g mail account. that's the only thing i believe.
and some information need. are you attached some additional documents with on-line application. i didn't attached any optional documents

i applied open work permit. when i applied my visa is single entry visa. is it problem for work permit.

My friend managed to submit her PGWP application online today. And after 4 hours, she received a confirmation email from CIC.

i also applied on line for OWP January 1st. but i got conformation e mail soon after to myCIC account.but January 6 to my personal gmail account. i think science that there system failure hope everything going smoothly
