    17 months includes time for sponsorship approval. Hopefully you are nearing the end, we have the same timeline and I am still waiting as well.

    It sure sounds like the processing for Santo Domingo is quite slow, since they only seem to conduct interviews every 6 months! But some people have gotten their PPR already, who applied after me. I thought my case was quite simple (but don't we all), who knows exactly what they are looking...

    I am in Calgary. I think re-doing things is what gets expensive, and small things like travel costs for that. Don't get me wrong, I love going there, and once hes here and I don't go every three months, I will miss it for sure! I was holding off going, because I was hoping it would end soon...

    which courier did you use?? I don't think anybody realizes all of the additional costs after paying the original fee!

    No kidding, plus to get it sent to Mexico! That's gotta be expensive. I'm sure the same will happen to me too! His police clearance is expired too. I guess I could have mentioned I waited over a week after they received my email before they told me they had it.. So don't worry too much yet!

    Yes I recieved the auto reply message and another message that the recieved the documents.. Just a waiting game now! I was told it would probably be between 4-8 weeks until I hear anything, and this is going on 4 weeks. Let me know when you get your passport back! I am curious how long it takes...

    Yes I was requested the schedule a and birth certificate and this will be 4 weeks since asked for a re medical. I think we're nearing the end as well. He is from the Dominican Republic, not sure why the times vary! I know it will be worth the wait once he is here!

    This is what i wonder, because I have seen people get PPR in 6-8 months and I've been waiting a year already, don't get me wrong I don't mind going on a tropical vacation every 2-3 months, but it will be nice to be home with my husband saving money!

    Does Mexico work on each country separate or all together? Does it matter which country you are from? It's crazy to me how they process all different countries like this, no wonder it takes so long!

    I sent to Mexico VO. I never recieved aor from Mexico, but they asked for additional forms. I am sure somebody on the forum would provide you with the email address for your vo!
