thanks shas44, yes it takes a month to get police clearance in Iran, we did follow up alot and was able to mail them everything after 3 weeks from the date they asked us to redo meds.

thanks nagz2207, I remember reading it some where in the forms that from Iran they need original marriage certificate. But nonetheless, if we don't get our original back, will just request for a new one. (it just wont be a booklet, it will be a piece of paper)

I don't think you can keep medical's receipt for long, that's what the doctor told us any way. We just waited and they asked us to redo the medical and police certificate. Because the doctor gives you a receipt then he/she will send your report after a week to France then goes to Damascus. This...

you go to any university's web site, then find a professor related to your course, send your request via email for continuing education and your background, see if they are willing to support you. Mostly works for post graduate studies. My wife ended up waiting for her PR, then she will apply...

My wife had the same problem too, but try to find a professor and he/she can sponsor you with funds. A lot of people are doing this now. Of course, it depends to the course and your must have TOEFL and ... . If you know that you are going to Canada, it's not worth paying thousands of dollars...

what does that have to do with anything? You see, there is law in Canada to keep families together. You can be living on a street and still sposor your wife. now, for other members of family like uncle, parents, .... i think you need to have a job, i am not sure. We both have jobs here in Iran...
