    Northern Alberta Institute Of Technology

Do a bit of research on it after coming here. It depends on your undergrad courses, sometimes you can get the certificate directly but other times you have to give an exam. NAIT one is a diploma, and not a degree and hence you are not an engineer.

    No points for relatives

FSW points will be dead. EE points will act as a filter itself. After that, candidates will be specifically given a stream to apply their PR through, CEC or FSWP. Only competition on points is EE itself.

Called CIC today and got starnge answer

Phil, let it go man. Let them know Canada will take in immigrants, and in fact 300K of them. And it has increased from last year. So even if they have anti-immigration stance, it is not going to help because their government has better things to do than to listen to morons. He can keep spewing...

    FSW - Experience Criteria

You cannot apply for EE before June. Because do not satisfy either category's conditions, or atleast CEC's. So do not apply before June, otherwise you will definitely not be selected. Co-Op is not counted as work experience.

Same Pool ...Different draws in different categories

EE is a single common pool. All candidates will apply to EE. Government will filter candidates based on EE points, and ask them to apply under FSWP or CEC specifically. Hence, to apply for EE, you have to satisfy either category's conditions. Simple. Hope you understand EE better now.

    No points for relatives

Because you will be invited to apply for PR after EE under one of these streams.

    Northern Alberta Institute Of Technology

If they recognize your B.Tech credits, you can shorten the length of the course and also save money too. Try for Power, but don't depend on it, the waiting line is too long for this course. In any of the trades you will be on solid footing, Mechnical/Chemical/Civil. Very good courses from NAIT...

which is better for me? CIC or FSWP under express entry 2015

I am confused. What? Does that mean you have worked for 2063 hours but paid for less? Which category conditions do you satisfy? CEC or FSWP?

Go through PNP. Best option for PGWPs.

Alberta is where the work is

20K per year? What? I think you missed a zero there. Alberta's job security is one of the best for experienced professionals. Moving or not, is your choice. But money is awesome, gas is cheaper, taxes are cheaper, and winter season is not really that harsh unless you work out in the field. Get...

which is better for me? CIC or FSWP under express entry 2015

You have to have 1560 hours of full time work experience. If you will have one year experience, then better if you apply as a principal applicant. Have your husband listed as your dependent. Or try to arrange for some overtime of one day for that last pay period. Starting January 2015, there...

Called CIC today and got starnge answer

It is unfair because it debilitates the PGWP. If PGWP requires LMOs, then how is PGWP open? You are essentially being annihilated because of the bureaucratic mess. PGWP means you are free to work for anyone. So essentially you are permitted to work by the government but that permission is being...

LMIA not required for CEC (candidates)

I don't know the answer to that. But EE will also refer you to CEC, and your application is already in CEC. So what purpose will it serve to apply again?
  17. B

LMIA not required for CEC (candidates)

If you get job under EE, you will be invited for PR itself. So work permit LMIA are not needed then.

    Fraud EE profile

EE is just first step. You will be invited to apply against FSWP or CEC after EE clears you. There you will account for every point. So fraud will be caught. Don't input made-up numbers on there. They will surely ask for Passport copies or other safeguards in online registration.

R u waiting for AINP nomination

Well if 2013 candidates are still pending, I think that does tell a story. http://www.albertacanada.com/files/albertacanada/AINP_AWE_closure.pdf This single category was most damaging to AINP. You can also see applications jump to 5000, the month it was closing...

Is position advertisement needed for Low-wage category Positions?

From the language on the link, looks like No. http://www.esdc.gc.ca/eng/jobs/foreign_workers/higher_skilled/general/index.shtml#lowWage They will be given two years time to transition to Canadian workforce. But employers do not have to explicitly submit anything as they have to do with high...
