    Turned back to USA, Question?

Be aware that CBSA and IRCC are two separate bodies. CBSA is the one who said this to him. IRCC is the one who will make the decision in his refugee claim.

    Turned back to USA, Question?

Returning to the Bahamas is problematic for his refugee claim. This would indicate there isn't a genuine fear of persecution.

Help with Travel to Algeria with refugee travel document

A visa is required for Canadian passport holders. So I'm pretty sure you will need one as well. I don't know who can confirm this. Maybe contact their embassy / consulate. If you need a visa, you won't be allowed to board the flight until you get one. Hopefully you haven't booked your flights yet.

Help with Travel to Algeria with refugee travel document

I think you need a visa. To the best of my knowledge, Canadian passport holders need a visa to travel to Algeria so I think an RTD holder would be the same.

eTA delay: stuck in “not started”

This is unusual for an eTA. Is there anything in your background that make your application non-standard? Past criminal charges or conviction? Past refugee or H&C claims? Something like that? ETAs are typically only held up like this when there is something concerning in the applicant's background.

Getting a work permit or job offer - Catch 22?

It's not a Catch 22 since obtaining a work permit would then be impossible. The short answer is that some people are in fact successful in securing a job offer and finding an employer willing to go through the LMIA process. Others fall into an LMIA exempt category and can get a closed work...

Has any former refugee claimant (who entered Canada from US) or H& C permanent resident successfully obtained a US visa and visited the US?

It's possible but generally more difficult. We have seen some people here be approved. It's certainly worth trying. If you are refused, then you likely want to wait a year or so before applying again to establish more ties to Canada.

    Sponsoring Adult Son

Your son is the one who applies for the TRV. In this application, you can include an invitation letter from you and your wife and indicate that you will cover the costs of his stay. However it's also very strongly recommended that your son show that he has his own savings and also demonstrates...

Can my parents be rejected at the airport if they only have 1 way flight ticket?

Sure, you can try explaining that. None of us can tell you what the outcome will be. To me, your bigger risk is that the airline will refuse boarding. They generally expect visitors to have return tickets since they don't want to swallow the costs of the return flight in the event a passenger...

    SuperVisa

The visa itself may or may not be granted with a 10 year validity. This will depend on the validity of your passport (the visa cannot be granted for a period longer than the validity of your passport). The visa officer also has the ability to grant a shorter validity to the visa. Generally this...

Can my parents be rejected at the airport if they only have 1 way flight ticket?

As said above, the first risk they will face is that the airline will refuse boarding. Since a TRV does not allow someone to move to Canada, airlines often demand that the traveler have a return flight. So if they only have a one-way, you need to be prepared for this risk. If they airline...

Recieved PR - Entry & Travel Obligations or Requirements

    - There is no minimum time you need to spend in Canada for the first landing. - Her visitor visa will become invalid once she lands and becomes a PR. So that has no benefits. - She will need to have either a valid PR card or a valid PR Travel Document in order to be allowed to board a plane to...

    SuperVisa

You are mixing two different concepts together that are completely different. It's very important to understand the difference. If you are asking about the expiry of the visa itself, this cannot be extended. You have to apply for a brand new visa following the same process you used the first...
