Urgent - No update for Fiancée visa applied a year ago

I am a Canadian citizen living in Toronto. My Fiancee who lives in India applied for visitor visa exactly a year ago in November 2020. Biometrics were complete. They received the application.

However, we still haven’t heard anything from IRCC in a year!! Status has remain unchanged. It’s getting very frustrating since a lot of people are getting visas quickly after applying recently.

Can someone suggest what we can do? What can I do from Canada side and she do from India side?

I checked that link. We already told them we need covid exemption in our visa last year. So we don’t need to reapply.

So old application should still be good enough for IRCC? Should we reapply now or what?

No. Not much. We got engaged quickly
