Hi Alvin, Don't worry about that. The driving license and health card are provincial while the PR application is not. So these are two different processes belonging to different departments. Therefore, changing the name won't affect your PR Application. But you have to take into consideration...

Hi Sandra, Usually CIC gives you 90 days to restore your status in Canada. So basically, they are telling you that you can stay in Canada for 90 after your permit expires, otherwise you have to leave.

Nops, I didn't... I really don't know why the delay. In all cases, in the AOR email, they said that if I didn't hear back from them in 120 days, to contact them. On December 3rd, the 120 days will have elapsed. So I am waiting till then to contact them back.
