What is the common thing, is it dependent on the provenance where we are applying from if we are in Canada? Our nationality?

In ecas my status says...

We received your application for permanent residence on March 15, 2012.

We started processing your application on September 5, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

So, i think once they received ur medical results and ur good, they will send u a passport request right away. Cause i did my medical Sept. 13 and my doctor sent the results Sep. 21, which was friday and probably CPP-O received it after 5-7 working days. Let's say they received my results end of SEptember. There response is so fast, after 19 days. I got passport request. So, to all other march applicants, just wait and be patient and time will come u will get it. Good luck to all of you and thank you so much for this forum. It helps me a lot.

I'd say that's pretty fast. My medical was received on Sept 24th ( I had a tracking number) and I haven't heard back yet.

I applied all by myself. At first i had so many doubts about the form, did i fill it right?, all this things bothers me a lot. SInce the beginning, i've been thinking all of these everybody, check my email and ecas. Then finally i got my file number and i fell better. And the wait starts again for medical request till i get it. After medical, the results bother me a lot again. What if im sick, what if ,u know all the things going to ur head till i didnt get a call from my doctor. Then i called my doctor and he said he already sent the results to Ottawa, then i feel better again. And then the wait starts again for passport request, the same thing, thinking everyday, email, ecas then finally i got a pasport request letter. The biggest thing that bothers is my work permit cause it expires on February 8, 2013. My life every single day, wake up, check email & ecas, work then the next day, same thing again. All this waiting time is a mental torture for me. What i did when i submitted my application? i submitted everything including police clearance here in canada and im currently working in the same employer. I submitted 3 work permits cause 2 work permits for the 2 year skilled plus current 1 right now.

Im currently working in edmonton, alberta and i dont think about the nationality. Im from the philippines and im currently working as a FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR in a fast food chain. and by the way. im single. so, probably that is the reason why is so fast.

Good for you pongpong . Sounds like your hard work really paid off !

Hopefully everyones application start moving forward.

Good luck to us all !

So happy for you pongpong!

Your blurb about your experience sounds remarkably similar to a lot of us (wake up, check the forum and ecas, etc.). I'm glad yours looks like a happy and timely ending.

And for those of us on AK1737's list without the MR's, there is evidence of progress, even if it's not ours yet.

Hi Guys,

Here I am, another addition to the team of people waiting for the PR. you guys are all so helpful, it's amazing how much people share.

I have a question in regards to PR.

My Timeline:
Application Sent: March 16 2012
AOR: June 8 2012
MR: October 5 2012
Medical Done: October 11 2012
Medical Sent: October 12 2012

My question is how long does it apporx. take for CIC to ask for passport after medical is sent. I know there is no specific time limit, but just an estimated time based on other applications.

Thank you guys.

I'm married, and I'm from a country that Canada does not have good political relationship with. on top of that, I'm not quit sure my job is in the category of the NOC we applied. (I have the whole package) What about the rests?

i Just checked my ecas and noticed that my status was updated:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 1, 2012.

We started processing your application on August 24, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

My medical status was not there when I checked on Friday night. Seems like folks in ottawa were working over the weekend.

Unfortunately I can't get into my ecas at the moment. I don't know why but it says the information I have provided is not correct. I was able to check before they ask for medical. Can you tell me what's the issue here.

Thanks
