i Just checked my ecas and noticed that my status was updated:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 1, 2012.

We started processing your application on August 24, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

My medical status was not there when I checked on Friday night. Seems like folks in ottawa were working over the weekend.

You are correct kamaleddin, they are working during weekend as I got curious after I saw your post and found my status also got updated as medicals received.
and also did check on friday

I'll bet ya we will get our PPR in the next 5 days!

It's been more than 130 days since I received my AOR, and still no sign of the medical request. I have emailed the CPP-O inquiring about the status.

Wow you guys are giving me lots of hope..my medicals were sent late September. Hopefully my status changes to "medicals received" soon!

Finally, this morning my status was changed to Medicals received...My result arrived there on the 4th of October.
Your status should change soon as well. And don't worry about the fact that your results were sent earlier than mine. If you read my previous posts, someone whose results arrived on the 14th of October, had their status changed before mine.

Whta's your NOC code? did you have strong reference letters? Did your salary fit the NOC code? Did you include t4s and tax assessment?
Did you provide explanation if there was doubt or ambiguity in your application? Please let us know. If your answer is yes to all of these then there is nothing to do except waiting. Good luck and hopefully you will get your med soon.

I guess there has been something wrong with your email! call the call centre now!

Thanks OHKIDDA. I hope with all my heart that my results were recieved. I wonder if it is taking longer because its for two people (me and my husband).

Me too. My ecase shows MER this morning. I am so excited today.

Thats awesome! That was quite fast! When did they start processing your application? Im still waiting for my MR although my ecas already states thats its in progress
