For those who have gotten their oath invites, did every one get a seat number? The instructions say you need one whereas I have it as blank in the invite.

Hey there I am posting behalf of a friend here. He recently got married and has gotten his Oath invite for 5th November. Does he have to let CIC know the change in his marital status? I am assuming yes and if so - where does he make this change?

For those waiting for Oath ceremony invite - the invitations are random. I have a friend who got his invite exactly 5 and a half months after his decision was made. I got it after 3.5 months. We both have almost identical applications (we both applied from toronto)

I got my Oath invite for November 3rd 2021 (edited). I had a few questions/ asks: 1. The test invite email will be sent closer to the date I suppose? 2. What documents apart from COPR and PR Card would be needed for the same? 3. How long does the Oath ceremony last? Thanks in advance...

It is unfortunate, our situation. Mississauga office was always very slow even before the pandemic. I have my PR card expiring in April and at the rate at which this is going, I won't be surprised if I have renew it.

It is frustrating for sure. It looks so RANDOM - who gets called in for the final step.
