The one you saw in trivandrum is canada vfs or usa? As per vfs canada website i only see bangalore as ur nearest one.

Truthlabs is another choice. You can get it fingerprints from them. You can put in your Indian address too if you don't have any friends in US.

I agree. We need to provide what ever they ask for. ( I applied for the FBI PCC anyway) I just want to hear from forum if there are any cases where they were not asked in this kind of scenario (barely 6months). Just trying to get the hope meter pumped up.

I stayed 180 days in 2 separate business trips.. so as per old rules before 11th update I was not required to submit PCC for USA. I am just preparing myself just in case tbey ask for it.

Where does it say that it is 42 days for pr applications? You might have confused it for PR cards. But for PR (economy class) PNP as well as federal skilled worker is still 6 months. Please check: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/ "Permanent Resident cards New PR card 42 days"
