Current processing time for PR from the time CIC receives a completed application is anywhere between 42 days and 76 days. Updated as a of Feb 8. This was 150 days 2 weeks back and just got updated.
Looks like if you received an AOR in Jan...then most likely you should hear of a decision by end of March....
Where does it say that it is 42 days for pr applications?
You might have confused it for PR cards.
But for PR (economy class) PNP as well as federal skilled worker is still 6 months.

Please check: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/

As others have said, the 42 day timeline is the production and issue of your PR card AFTER you have received COPR status. The average PR application processing time is still at 6 months or less.

Strange! Can you confirm if this was for a Canadian education credential or foreign credential along with ECA? Can you also make an educated guess about why you were asked for transcripts? Cannot recall anyone else reporting this on the forum yet.
I have a Canadian masters degree and foreign undergraduate degree. I did not submit an ECA since I got the maximum points from my masters degree. I will guess that I got the transcript request because I wasn't submitting an ECA. I don't know if this is the reason or not though.

do i need to update my application if there's any change in the family members's status (deceased)? (Family includes parets/sublings not included in the application.

So you were prompted for transcripts for your undergrad degree which was included in your Education history section and you indicated that you had not done an ECA for it?

That's not necessarily the case with everyone. I had to upload all my transcripts because it was required in the upload section. Everyone's document checklist vary as per individual circumstances. If you weren't asked to provide transcripts, then its not necessary.
I think you're right, it depends on where you got your degrees.

I was just going through my submitted documents right now . I noticed my manager made huge mistake on my employer reference letter.
so here is the situation- I started working in this company on October 1st, 2013 and still on same position in same company. However I visited back home from December 31st, 2014 to March 7th 2015 ( 67Days total 44 workings days ) . My manager made mistake he wrote down that Mr. Bhatthal missed 67 working non vacation days between January 31st,2014 to March 7th,2015 it was suppose to be between December 31st,2014 to March 7th,2015 and I missed only 44 working days and he mentioned 67days (those are total days I was out of the company)

Now I received ITA on January 13th,2016 . At the time of ITA I was employed in company for 2 years and 75 days . If I take those 67 days out of total experience still at the time of ITA I was employed for 2 years and 8 days.

Will they reject my file and ask me to resubmit with correction or they will give me chance to explain without rejecting the file.

or

Will they wont even care about this mistake since still my experience is over 2 years?
Please do reply
It should not lower your points and even if it does, it should not be lower than the ITA cutoff in your round. Use the CRS tool on the CIC website and recalculate.

Also, update CIC so that they don't reject you for submitting false information. Go for a CSE

I was prompted for Education (transcripts). It did not specify undergraduate degree so i uploaded all my transcripts. I tried to do a screenshot of my document checklist but i can't attach it here. I believe its probably cos i never got an ECA for the undergraduate degree, it looks like my case is different from that of others. :) :). Is there anyone else who has the same experience?

2 possible scenarios and only you can confirm which one is the case here.

Either you were asked for transcripts for your Canadian Masters (this is unlikely because transcripts are optional submissions) or you were asked for transcripts for your foreign undergrad degree as you indicated in your EE profile that you did not have an ECA for that (appears likely but not conclusively so).

Got a request for schedule A on Saturday (Feb 13) - we answered yes to one of the statutory questions, I had included the details in the LOE but looks like they didnt get that far in reviewing it.

It is usually that PNPs get the request for submitting Schedule A. You are fine.

Oh Cool. Thats pretty quick.
Mine was AOR Jan 21st, Meds Passed Feb 2nd. No updates after that.
I am applying FSW Outland (USA).
I heard people applying from USA will have longer waits because of backlogs in CIC US office. LA and NY. Is this true?
