Aug 6 in process at IRCC. Just received dispatch message. Have seen IRCC account updated with COPR number and application status changed to Approved for others. In my mother’s case, it’s still in process.

Was it PR? When did your IRCC account get updated with COPR details, before you got the dispatched message?

There is no SLA or ETA defined. Talked to someone yesterday and for them, it was a total of 7 weeks (2-way courier used).

Are you located in western Canada? Generally files for western Canada are transferred to Vancouver for load sharing if sponsor is in western or central Canada . Some other reasons are secondary background checks.

i just got my OCI number generated. OCI application received on OCI's website has 12th Oct [BLS was on 30 Sep with surrender]. Any progress in your case?

BLS told someone to wait until Nov 15. e-visa seems to be making a comeback. It's verbal, so can't fully trust it
