No bank will accept to issue DDs without having account with them , this due to compliance issue. Exchange house can issue DDs but for small amounts and their fees is high

you have to be carefull if you are PNP immigrant. you have to stay at your nominated province.

you can send it from oustaside Canada and it has to be stamped from the back with the date and details.
