Hi.. You should not worry at all as there are number of people who got pre arrival in Feb 2018 and waiting dm . I am also waiting for my dm though I got my pre arrival in April. I am also dec 2016 applicant. So need not to worry

What I think the question in CIC form says do you have any visa refusal in past which you said no which is a correct information . As now you got the visa refusal I don't think it will be the case of mis representation coz you got visa refusal after you applied . And I think CIC wants more...

I have got my gcms notes and after 16 months of processing my file says Security check not started Criminalty check not started Eligibility check not started .. Background check not started Medical passed And there is a due date of 28th Feb 2018..I don't know what is the significance of that...

Just an update .. I got my child medical 2 weeks ago and status is passed now. Now again switching to waiting mode for PRE arrival email ..DM and PPR

As per the current scenario it is taking 17 to 20 months on an average and we have people who are in 21st n 22 nd month. Official wait time is 15 months

Try for express entry ..Quebec ..Is a long process which may go to 5 to 6 years. Don't know rules. May change in future..
