PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Log into your gckey account, choose link an application, then choose "Permanent Resident Card" as the application type - then just follow the prompt there. I used UCI and birthday to link. You can also use the application number from the AOR. Website...

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Before you open your application, does it say “In Process” or “Decision Made”? I would highly suggest you to link your application on gckey and see the details there. It gives you a better insight of your application.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

I don’t think it’s too big of a problem. We are humans, we make mistakes. Is it already in DM? If it is you are good. If you are really worried, update that via webform. Don’t worry. The mistake is extremely insignificant to have any fundamental impact on the whole application.

It might be a possibility that they sent something to Quebec's address. Are you able to check your status via eCAS or GCkey?

PRTD with H&C grounds category RC1

You are given a RC-1 counterfoil - most likely means you have been given a positive H&C ground decision. Thus a 44(1) will not (most likely will not) be generated at the border. You are not going to lose your identity this case because of this positive decision, but I would highly suggest you...

IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

I honestly have no idea about the mechanism they might have behind those. It was just some assumptions I made. But as long as the oath is scheduled, it doesn't really matter who does it - it's still an oath within Canada by an official so. Good luck with your UP!

IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

I have no idea. Just some observations based on the report. I would assume it's a way for them to deviate applications to those with less backlog? I mean we've seen similar strategy with mail-in passport applications, people in the GTA received their passports from Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary...

IRCC Scarborough Applicants - Online Test/Interview/DM/Oath

Online files seem to have different processing mechanisms than paper files. In theory, if you submitted on paper then the file should be in Scarborough - no doubts there. But online seems to be different, if they said your file is being processed by Montreal then it is with Montreal. Scarborough...

permanent resident return to Canada travel document or land border

If this "long time" is like a majority of the 5-year period, crossing at the land border probably will translate into a 44(1) report. But maybe the OP may qualify for a H&C based PRTD? Regardless very tricky situation indeed.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Seems like they sent you a letter for more information? Cause if it's PR card it should show "Your PR Card is mailed xxxxxx". I would call in and make sure of this.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

I did my interview in March. Expired PR cards work - you'll be fine without a valid one.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

I It's more like clerical error on IRCC's side, send a webform first then call them to update this. If it's already in DM, you are most likely over the complication part - it 99.9% means your application is approved and will be sent for printing soon.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

The shortest I've seen is 1 day, the longest I saw was around 45-50 days. But just based on recent reports, 7-15 days seem to be a safe estimate.
