Why do you say you need a particular score band for applying through EE. I mean getting a better result would definitely bring you a few more points but I don't know of any fixed score that is required by that program.

I've received 2nd email confirmation today. "This is to confirm that your academic documents were received by the IQAS office and your file is now placed in line for processing."

We have a similar timeline. Would be interesting to see how it plays.

Bizzare. I was expecting a reply from outside Canada. I feel your pain, hopefully you'll receive it soon. I read the email they sent out confirming receipt, it reads " please do not call to inquire about your application status as this might delay processing." Which seems very rude, but I guess...

What country did you send your application from?

I would wait until Aug 21(30 business days), if you still don't get it. Use the contact form on their website. I think they have few resources and tons of applications to go over,patience is the key.

Hi Jordan, Thanks for all the clarifications. I've heard and read that general ielts is easier than academic, but I was looking for major differences between the two. Can you clarify? P.S previously I took academic, about 6 years ago.

Just an FYI for everyone that is waiting for initial confirmation. I received an email confirming receipt of my application today (Aug 4th). It took 18 business days from the date of delivery.

I think many of us are on the same boat. Mine got delivered on July 11th. I haven't received any updates yet. But i think for my case, it's probably because one of my transcripts haven't been delivered. If you know all your transcripts have been delivered, then i'd recommend to follow up.
