To be honest, I don’t recall exactly how they qouted in the exam. Either way most of the answers shared here were academic.

Nice. I just learned that i made a mistake with ending salutation. I treated the letter as a semi-formal, however I ended it with Yours Faithfully.

Thanks for sharing. I think we have similar if not identical answers for listening. I just don’t recall all of my answers. However, for reading I chose TRUE as well for elderly receiving a discount on bus tickets who live in Cornwell.

Thanks. Those do seem like the right answers, well atleast that’s what I chose. I think the last one was related to the hallway, options were with paint, glue or carpet. If I remember right I chose carpet, but I briefly remember her talking about glue.

Could you share answers from the listening questions where Elinor was complaining about issues at the flat. The ones where you had to pick an alphabet from three answers provided. I was super distracted and also the recording used a lot of paraphrasing. I won’t get band 8 if I screwed those up.
