Hi Everyone,

I recently received my FBI PCC letter. However I have already submitted my Express Entry application to IRCC with a letter of Explanation. Can you please help me how can I update the application and attach the FBI letter to it. I do not see any option in gc key to update the application now.

Thanks
DJ

I read through some posts about a CSE option. I don't where or how to access it. It seems like it's called Case Specific Enquiry and allows you to attach documents in support of your application.

Hi Experts, Need advice. My application reached to FBI office on 11th may. Currently, they are opening the applications received on 7th/8th may. My ITA deadline for submission is on 3rd Aug. I do not think by that time Fbi will be able to deliver my report to US address. Should I request for extension to IRCC, if yes, for how many months, or just submit communications with FBI, dhl delivery other relevent docs etc..thanks.

Here is my Timeline:

Application sent: 04/20/2017
Application Received by FBI: 04/24/2017
Application processed and mailed: 07/11/2017
Application delivered to me: 07/19/2017

Unfortunately it was delayed by a day and I had to Decline the ITA, waiting eagerly for the next round.....hopefully it happens on the coming Wednesday....

Seriously? You could have submitted with a LOE. If your score is above 450, you should be okay. But if its below 450....you never know.

My score is above 450, however I do not want to risk it as I have seen people getting rejected because of the same issue though they submitted the LOE along with the screenshot of email chain from FBI...

I am hoping that I will get the ITA in the next draw, atleast now it will be fairly quick for me as I already have all the docs ready to be submitted....

Here is my Timeline:

Application sent: 04/29/2017
Application Received by FBI: 04/24/2017
Credit Card Charged: 07/03/2017
Application processed and mailed: 07/11/2017
Application delivered to me: 07/22/2017 (Indian Address)

It took around 90 days for the complete processing including 11 days for USPS to deliver the mail to my India Address. All the best for others who are awaiting their FBI Report. Thanks Guys!

Hey all. Is it possible to change your address with the FBI after you have sent in the application for the PCC? I want to send in my form soon because of the 3 month process, but I also hope to be moving to Canada in fewer than 3 months. Unfortunately that might be wishful thinking, because I am planning to move to Canada as soon as I get a job offer, and I have been waiting for months. But if I am lucky enough to get a job offer and move over before the FBI issues my PCC, is there a way to tell the FBI to send the PCC to my new address in Canada?

Yes you can. Use the form @ https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/address-verification.pdf/view and either fax or email to the address mentioned at the bottom of the form.

Mail Reply from FBI today :
"At this time we are opening mail we received on approximately 05/12/2017"

Do they inform on phone or email if it is rejected?

As far as I know they don't call or email. They just deliver rejection letter by mail. However, you can call or email yourself after your CC is charged and find out whether your fingerprints are okay.

Yes of course they don't call or email. I meant if we call or email them do they inform if it is rejected or through. Will try after they charge my card

Oh now I got what you meant. I heard of cases where applicants called/emailed and found out that their fingerprints were okey. That means they do inform about that.
