June 30?!?!? Why no one announced it? It simply can’t be true. Europe closed it for 30 days. USA as well for 30. Everyone is clear on the dates to public except Canada. this is total craziness

Call IRCC and also sent the WP via webform. you can’t work as you don’t have a status. You need to wait for your work permit.

I don’t know. Mine is inside Canada and also in background check.

Normally for any temporary residence application they don’t do the BG check and the status is not applicable. Sometimes they do it for some reasons so it might be delayed because of it.
