I'm assuming you say this on the basis of this order -
https://orders-in-council.canada.ca/attachment.php?attach=38952&lang=en

This would work , wouldn't it?? Considering your country has no ban on flying out and the US airports are also open to you, you can stay there for 14 days or more and then fly to Canada and complete the PR process. @wick_sran @Ethan07 @Islander216 what do you guys think?

Also @wick_sran , I've been reading and I'd wait awhile to raise a webform. You, like me, have time, I know the order states June 30th but I THINK this is something that might change if the situation improves. If till April end-ish it hasn't , then raise a webform. I truly believe we'll hear more from them after 15-20 days, the situation is just too much for them to handle right now , let alone consider potential PR's.(This does suck for us, but it is what it is)
How to stay in US for 14 days without any visa? Once you submit that web form it takes 28 days for them to reply back. Considering what is available on official website probability is pretty slim for the wind to change it's course.

I've already sent the webform requesting an extension of my COPR and PR visa, as their expiration date is within the time frame of the travel ban ending 30 June.

I would encourage everyone in the same situation to send their webform now, there's no point waiting now that the Governor General's proclamation has been put into place, and no exemption has been provided to us based on it.

So they know what the situation is, it's time to let them know we've done everything we can and now it's up to them to take the next step.

Please be sure not to flood the webform by multiple requests as it will create an unnecessary delay. Whatever is happening its happening for good.

Hardly, IRCC needs to know what the situation is for each individual applicant in this situation, so they can start working on extending each person's documents.

They will get to it when they can. Staying quiet will not help anyone, we need to be proactive.

I classified my mother as a dependent. Went through a lawyer, I can't really dig deeper because I don't know the process.
A parent cannot be a dependent for immigration purposes. It is always defined by IRCC, and for the travel ban, as spouse/common-law partner and dependent children.

If they don't allow to COPRs land till July ,there will be 60-90k of people who was left by Canadian government without any effort to help and and under circumstances that may put in risk all those families. Most of us already left everything behind. Such acts are irresponsible. As a result there would be thousands of lawsuits against and risk to lose hundreds millions of dollars (all the money from Canadian taxpayers). Everything will be fine. Again no one knows nothing. Changes are applied every single day. Just follow instructions from IRCC and wait. Stop panic. Everyone!!!!!
There certainly won't be any lawsuits lost for hundreds of millions of dollars. Canada 100% has the right to close borders to foreign nationals, so there really is no legal argument for a lawsuit.

I mean they take 5 business days to reply. If they don't reply, it's okay to send one webform request per week to let them know that you can't travel and not like whatsapp messages when your girlfriend does not reply after reading your messages :p

IRCC is aware of us thats why they came up with COVID19 delivery measures which includes not cancelling CoPR after its expiry even if we are unable to travel due to ban or COVID19 situation in your country. As per current situation they don't even know when the travel ban will be removed as situation with COVID19 could go south. We should also keep in mind that ban could be lifted prior to 30 June to maybe extended further if its end of the world kinda situation. Ban could be lifted in steps first CoPRs>Students>Work permit>Completely. So be proactive but also smart with the situation that we have here in hand. It's not just Canada ban is everywhere in the world right now.

We are the chosen ones not the forgotten ones. Staying safe is the first priority.
