I know. I also applied for the WP extension and now they are checking the Background. It has never happened before when I extended my applications. So I am kind of freaking out what is the reason for Background check.

Normally they don’t do backfire any temporary residence application and the status is N/A. They only do it when they need to verify something.

You said that they are already checking your BG and eligibility. They don’t check BG for everyone for temporary residence application. If they do it can be delay.

They don’t run background check for everyone. That is why it is taking longer for you.

My BG turned on right after biometrical was submitted. what about the eligibility status?
