Yes I have seen this and asked some applicants personally if it is true. In their experience you should get PPR in 1-2 weeks. All the best and congratulations in advance

I think same thing happened with applicants from 2014 when they got new application in 2015 & 2016.

I think they are busy with new application of 2017 at the moment.

That means lots of ppl are waiting since long. I am little worried after looking at you case, you only have 5 month left before your medical expires. Lets keep fingers crossed.

I am still waiting for PRR, my file is at Ottawa. Unfortunately I am not able to link my application. My Ecas shows Medical Results Received (status was changed on 25th August, though we got medical done on 20th August and submitted PCC on 31st August.)

Even if you are not approved as a sponsor you can continue your application, There was a check mark on application which ask you if you want to continue application even if your sponsorship is not approved. Do you remember checking that box? I didn't check though I updated my application later...

You can apply for SIN right away after landing, you need landing paper and current passport for getting your SIN. You don't have to apply separately for PR card, they will ask your address at the time of landing for sending your PR card. Hope that will help you. All the best.

I agree, in my grandfather's date of birth I put "UNKNOWN"

That is confusing now, LOL, I will keep my finger crossed, I dont think i can do anything else at the moment
