    Spousal sponsorship is on a case basis.......assume process completion takes 12 months to help reduce the waiting stress....the 12 months processing time starts on the AOR date.

    You are no longer eligible for spousal sponsorship and should return the visa. The sponsor can cancel the sponsorship at anytime up until you land. If you land and are divorced (or in the process) you are committing misrepresentation and they can revoke your status.

    You'll want to use the spousal sponsorship process. I would recommend you join the discussion in the Family Sponsorship section of the forum. I don't know the answer to your certification question. You can buy a house as soon as you arrive in Canada.

    Hello, yes we applied for outland PR sponsorship last week but it may take 8-12 months. We wanted a visa so she can visit me in Canada.

    Is Dependent Visa is same as Spousal sponsorship??

    As you are a PR holder, I think you need to look into Spousal Sponsorship. When the sponsorship is approved, she will get a PR "visa"/document and land to get her PR status. I think dependent visa is for foreworker or study visa holder.

    Applying for outland spousal sponsorship might take up to 2-3 years deadens on the visa office and other factors. You could apply for TRV and when she’s here apply for inland sponsorship, if the TRV is not granted then you’re only option is outland.

    Need help .... about spouse open work permit.....

    They can apply for outland spousal sponsorship from their home country. Or apply for tourist visa to canada, then once in canada you can apply for inland spouse sponsorship together with open work permit. You can only apply open work permit with your inland application.
