I was just checking the forms and some sponsorship forms have been updated in 2016. Do i need to worry about this? I am a January 2016 applicant and I am sponsoring my husband.

Need feedback.

Can anyone pls advise how much time LVO usually takes in "Back Ground Security Check" after re-medical? My re-medical was done on 12-May-2016 and through MP we came to know that my file is under "Back Ground Security

usually it takes about 2 to 3 months if u have any travel history than add 2 more months
in my case I have done my interview back in January 2016 and I passed my interview I passed my eligibility but they don't wana give me a visa I think you and me we are in a same boat
my friend take it easy by the end of the day they have to give us visa no other option what they can do maximum just take time that's what they are doing right now

They gonna ask in additional doc request for the updated forms..
Which would be around 2-3 months after, for us (jan 2016 applicants)

So even though sponsor has been approved we would still need to submit the updated sponsorship form?

No its not necessary they will ask for it..
They might not even ask..

Isn't interview done at last stage after background and security check? U had interview back in Jan why are they taking so ling for visa?

hello everyone aslamaualikum
I have quick question about driving licensee i am going to Montreal QC on spouse visa in July i have 4 years Pakistani driving licences from here as I am living in Islamabad now do i need to verify my license from here or from Pakistan high commission Montreal i spoke to Montreal driving issuance authority but they said as long as your driving license in English we do not need any verification any one has idea whats true and what is accurate procedure for converting my driving license to Canadian i will be greatful.

Proof of Canadian citizenship or right to stay in Canada
Proof of residency in Québec
Proof of residency in the country in which your licence was issued if you obtained your licence within the previous 3 years

Previously, MP advised that my file was under routine background checks and now after re-medical, MP advised that our file is under background security checks.

Any idea??
