I applied for a different kind of permit, Working Holiday. Going to flagpole this weekend. Unfortunately, up until now AINP was my only option cause I'm semi-skilled. If not for WH, I would have to leave the country, yes.

My work permit is expiring next Wednesday. Granted, I applied January 2015 as EDS Hotel and Lodging, but still had some hope it could be processed by now. But nothing still.. interesed to see what the future will bring.. :O

I'm not getting into why she was rejected( was it because of her NOC or AOR or anything else), I'm just saying AINP can get all the info they need through candidate's UCI number listed on their work permit.

I guess AINP knows everything through UCI number..including reciving AOR without applicants informing them..

Sounds awful but it seems that the officer was looking for a reason to decline your app. They should have done that right away and not give you a file number and let you wait for more than a year. You could have passed the general ielts and apply again. But to do it like this... just cruel.

He had LMO from April 2013, qualified for EE, got ITA, applied for PR, got AOR, and then got Nomination he's obviously not gonna need. The point is AINP is wasting nominations while some people have to leave the country.

Yes, it was the IEC WH 2015 :) I have not activated it yet because my wp is still valid, but I will exit Canada before it expires, probably just flagpole. I had the same doubts as you, but as I said, I explained my situation clearly and truthfully, and got POE :) Good luck!

I have applied from within Canada while on work permit with LMO. My country has the residency req. but I received POE. Residency req. is defined based on your perm. address (must be your home country), but what is even more important is that you can show them that you have held legal status all...

Guys, don't attack the Hotel Industry, our work is very physically demanding, a lot of us work for 3 years for just above minimum wage before we can apply, we all have at least high school education and I can assure you no Canadians want to do this job. I've seen many of them come and go. But...
