You cannot buy time with the extension itself if it's not based on positive LMIA or LMIA exempted. Your application will be declined. That's also clearly stated on AINP's page.

Anybody from hotel industry received a call? The numbers dropped from 300 to 250 but I haven't heard of anyone receiving "the letter"?

No, it's not a lottery system, in fact they have a clear system and that is if your NOC is interesting/needed/underrepresented you will receive the certificate, even though you're already in your final stages of PR application (see previous post). I also doubt that AINP is giving certificates...

That's something new. Did she say why? Are you on LMO currently? At least they're letting people know...

They could know through your UCI number as far as I know. Please keep us updated. Unskilled workers in no way have priority, there's just not as many of them.

The numbers they're giving us don't seem to be accurate. For example, H&L Cat. all of a sudden has 300 app. from 250 that were there before, but the dates stayed the same: March 2014 to May 2015. So 50 new app. just appeared out of thin air? :) geez AINP just let us know your agenda so we can...
