Application returned as incomplete - but form was there

    Thanks, that's somewhat reassuring.

Application returned as incomplete - but form was there

Thanks for the clarification. It makes sense, but always good to confirm. One final question: if we send the corrected forms and include the same police certificate that we included in the original application, will CIC return it again or will they just ask for an up to date police certificate...

Application returned as incomplete - but form was there

Is it true that we do not need to pay application fees again? I think that's the case since our application was returned without being processed.

Application returned as incomplete - but form was there

Turns out one of our forms was outdated. Our police certificate is just over three months, but getting a new one will take another 12 weeks. The call centre agent at CIC told us to resubmit everything as is except with the correct form.

Application returned as incomplete - but form was there

Thanks. Do you know if we'd have to get a new police certificate to resubmit? If we applied from outland, it would have to go to Singapore office, which takes longer than inland.

Application returned as incomplete - but form was there

It is the questionnaire, so it's all information personal information that we provide. I've posted this on the inland thread in case someone has encountered a similar issue.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hi, We received our package back (inland) as incomplete, saying that we must submit the spouse questionnaire (IMM5285), but our package contains that form, and it is signed. Does anyone know what could be the issue? What kind of delay can we expect because of this?

Application returned as incomplete - but form was there

Thank you for your response. We used IMM 5285 (08-2013) E. The letter we got states that we have to submit IMM 5285 (08-2013). The only difference that I see here is the "E" at the end of our form. Could that be the problem?

    Spousal sponsorship - photographs specification

We're applying in Canada, and it looks like there is no requirement to write anything.

Inland Spouse sponsorship - Immigration Office requested

The answer was right there in the instruction guide: Note:If you are applying for refugee protection from within Canada or being sponsored from within Canada, this question does not apply to you. Go to Question 5.

Inland Spouse sponsorship - Immigration Office requested

Hi, Sorry about the multiple posts! I think information will be useful for others as well so I'm trying to make the subjects relevant to the question. For inland spouse sponsorship, there is a question on IMM 0008: "Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application" Should...

    Spousal sponsorship - photographs specification

We are doing a spousal sponsorship in Canada and went to Black's at the mall to take photos. They put a stamp on the back with room for a signature, but I don't see anything about signing the photos in Appendix C. Does anyone know if we have to sign the backs of the photos?

Thanks for the information. And it sounds like you didn't have any issues with the application despite applying with no job?

In Canada Spouse Sponsorship -- proof of income

Hi, We are completing the sponsorship application, and trying to understand the income requirements for the sponsor. It looks like there is no minimal income requirement on the sponsor, but he has to provide proof of income anyway. Why is that? My husband was abroad for a period and moved back...

    Ottawa CPC vs Inland

Hi, We are applying for spousal sponsorship from within Canada. Initially, I thought the only option was to apply either inland, or from my wife's home country in Asia. Now I see that if she is currently in Canada maybe we can apply through Ottawa CPC as outland. Is this correct? What are the...

    Small wedding

Unfortunately for us outland will take longer. Another question for the experts: On the Spouse/Common Law Questionnaire, question 11, we have to indicate whether the sponsor has sponsored anyone in the past. I sponsored two parents in the past, but there is room only for one person on the form...

    Small wedding

That's possible. I don't see them as an option either. We're submitting inside Canada.
