My fingerprints were received by IRCC on Feb 06, but they still haven't reviewed them. Everything says in progress. Any idea how long it takes for them to review and to mark background check as "complete' ?

Mine took a month . Some folks take up to two

That’s correct . Once your background is marked complete, you won’t have to submit fingerprints as far as I know.

Mine is still in process. I got request for FP for BG. I have submitted my FP to RCMP. I am waiting on RCMP to send results to IRCC.
Mind it, not everyone is asked for FP. Some people's BG is completed without FP.
So, you might get request for FP or not. IF your BG is marked complete, you would not be asked for FP as per my experience.

test is still “in progress” even though it was passed on Sunday 20th. Hopefully that’ll change soon with no issues/retest needed .

Which agency/facility did you use to submit your finger prints.
Commissionaries, F1 etc ?

I live in Hamilton, and also have a FP request pending, not sure where should i submit, i have options of Commissionaries office in Hamilton or F1 Fingerprints in Burlington, but i am flexible and can go anywhere, if any agency/facility is faster in processing this request.

Please share your experience in this regard and fee associated with it.

I'm sure there is a reason, but it makes me laugh that my background can be complete, but not certain steps like language.

Yes, that seems to be the pattern for most of us here - my Background Verification was completed last month and everything else is still in "Progress" or "Not Started".

Yep it is necessary as you get the test link emailed to you after you validate yourself.

I need a suggestion.
I completed test and finger print request outside Canada. I am June 7 2021 applicant. Test completed 8 December. landed back in Canada on Feb 9. My bcg check and test has been completed. Should I let ircc know through web forum that I am back in Canada?
