I actually think the same way, at least initially that is the case. Of course especially in academic circles Turkish people are kind of favored.
I've been on vacation (twice) to Turkey, North Cyprus and Greece South Cyprus (crossing the border from NC to Greece via Nicosia). I found Turks in Istanbul to be 50/50 friendly, Turks in NC extremely friendly, and the Greeks kinda hostile and condescending with fake smiles :D :D :D .

40000 refugees, 40000 TR2PR and 15000 CEC are enough to fill up the labour shortage.
Ummm... not really. TR2PR and CEC were already here. Refugees will take years before they are ready to work in Canada... a lot of the do not even speak English.

1. CEC-Almost dead
2. FSW- Confirm Dead
3. TR2PR (EE coming?)- Absolutely.
4. PNP (jk... pnp = win)- Master Race
Thanks mate. I saw a dude saying tr2pr ded too. You seem to disagree. Did Fraser say anything specifically about TR2PR? Also are they planning on releasing something well structured like a letter or an article maybe? It's like the info is all over the place.

I'm currently in the EE pool as an FSW candidate with 530 points. So is there any hope for me???
Not until maybe June/July and even then they might not include FSW in a draw. Whether 530 is good enough I will leave to someone else. In normal times you would get an ITA immediately. Now... everything is up in the air.

I dunno how many dug deep through the news yesterday, but there is a clear mention of the TR 2 PR pathway. The good thing is TR 2 PR will take up to the end of 20223 to land. So, slow processing for TR 2 PR.

Foot note 2: Includes the time-limited temporary public policies for temporary resident to permanent resident pathways, with all admissions anticipated by the end of 2023.

Only CEC specific draws were under any policy?

Hope you guys enjoyed my immigration plans. I need faster uber-delivery times n faster stocked shelves so this made sense to me. I can just hire some people in India for tech support.

Guys, really bad news and brutal for one's waiting for ITA.

Can someone explain -

1. TR2PR program is closed and according to the CICNEWS back in november backlog appx 17500. So not getting what is 40K for after backlog?

https://www.cicnews.com/2021/11/can...migration-applications-1119651.html#gs.p6j7l0

2. IRCC works round the year and they know ITA after June land in next year but draw did not stop June in a year looking at the history. So number of ITA is sent some where near to the total spots available in EE. Is there confirmed there won't be new ITA this year?
TR2PR are a bit different from express entry. They don’t get AOR as soon as they apply. I think that’s why. The listed ones were just those who received AOR. Rest applied and were put in the back burner. Should have pushed them further out till 2023-2024 or never in my opinion.
