Did you see a lawyer?
No, this is what I understood listening to online opinion. That Steve Murrens dude also mentioned this. Although the examples he cited were for far older applications. In any case, no harm in raising a webform and requesting the processing of the application within 2 months. Mention your hardships, your derailed plans, the expected processing time and how much longer it has taken.

We should understand that FSW/FHS outlanders are the last priority for the liberals. If any other group, inland or outland, need help or raise their voice or would score more political points; they'll get priority over us. And a good amount of time will be lost for those administrative context switches as they try to wing it as things come.
Actually liberals have NO priority. To have a priority means you need to have a plan. Liberals are WORSE than a 5 year old in front of a X-Box in that regards. They just do things without any thought.

"We have 50K in blacklog but we cann't get enough for this yeear? GET ANOTHER 80K in backlog AND this time bring the barely intelligible and freshly burried deads too!". "We just FUCKED UP these guys country with America. OMG! 20K landings for Griffindor!". "NO! Make it 40K!". "40K landings! YAY!" "But backlogs???" "WHO CARES! 40K 40K 40K 40K!!!!! YEEE HAWWW".

Thats how their heads turn.

I know this question is stupid but I cant stop myself from asking.

In the light of new mandate letters where it is mentioned "expected" processing time can be 36 months and no draws till june do you guys think it is realistic to expect pr in 2022 end atleast for post march applicants.
Yup bro. We will land in 2022.

My strategies and plans have a success rate usually of 99.99% but this guys just threw me off the cliff. In the last 13 years this is the only freaking thing that didn't go according to plan .The reason behind that never expected a first world (pseudo first world or what ever) country to be this incompetent. I made a huge mistake leaving offer from KTH royal institute of technology for masters in production engineering, I was young and so stupid at that time because I didn't want debts as I got 50% of my tuition covered I paid only 20k tuitionfee in US which is cheap according to US standard. Now I am paying interest for that in another way.

I mean we should blame no one but ourselves. Why did we put ourselves in this situation? We may get our PPR or ITA or not, but each of us just got to do something to keep us sane.

@RSub you are a mba graduate isn't it? You had only 1 chance in H1b lottery and you got it ,you should be really lucky.i know a lot who got fucked up who did mba in us as it is not considered as stem.in my uni it is really competitive to get into mba programs. Engineering is comparitively easy but the good thing is everyone in my major got a job I meant 100% .

MBA in us is really competitive also.

The other side of the coin. 'CEC only' draws have been started exactly a year ago. At that time most realized that instead of sitting and waiting FSW to resume, some guys were able to find a job being overseas, get WP/LMIA and come to Canada for work. CEC was in priority entire 2021 and it's obvious why now people are waiting for draws to resume. Not everything is only about dumbass students' routes, there are a bunch of people who came for a job consciously because the FSW story screwed up for an uncertain period.

I've got 2 foreign Masters degree, and currently studying towards my 3rd one in a Canadian university. Trust me, I get what you are saying. Majority of these CECs are graduates from diploma mills and work as assistant supervisors at Wendy's/Walmart/insert-any-freaking-retail-store-here, with no solid skillset. It still doesn't negate the fact that Canada had this CEC pathway available as means to achieve PR. Also, there are CEC candidates that are Masters' Degree/Ph.D holders who actually have needed skills and are just completing their 1 year work experience requirement that will also suffer along with the useless ones. Those are the ones I feel for.
There was never CEC only draws before pandemic and scores were around 450-470. If a current CEC is under that, then they can’t blame Canada for being deceived. If they were lower and planned on taking advantage of pandemic situation to get ahead, then they are a POS who I’m glad got screwed over.

But don't they have any other path way for phd and ms holders.
"2 masters and working on 3rd one " omg you seems like the smartest kid in the class. With 1 masters it self I stopped wanted to do a mba but very expensive so dropped the plan .Now just improving skills and certifications.I wanted to write PE also but seems to be very time consuming and my field doesn't require it much.
I wish I was doing all these studying for my personal pleasure :) . I've got masters in Information Technology and an MBA. Now studying for a Masters' in Computer Science with Data science specialisation - all because I want a better life for myself and my children. I'm way past 40 years now and studying is more painful at this age :D:D:D

I meant the additional points they get for canadian experience, which they can only get after completing 1 year. I assume that quite a few are about to reach that milestone now, but there are no draws. Right now, it doesn't matter if they are over or under 450, there's simply no draw.

Let's not forget that CEC-only route was an interim solution for 2020 - 2021, no one should realistically expect it to go on forever. Applicants already in Canada still have a higher chance of redress than outland applicants if draws are halted for an extended time.

There was only one CEC draw in history before the Pandemic.
