I wonder if there's a point in checking multiple times a day, though. There must definitely be some sort of batch processing that happens for the tracker, instead of updates reflecting instantaneously. So if you don't see an update at any point of the day, may as well check 24 hours later after the next batch processing is done.

Mostly from morning(may be 6ish or before) till noon itself whatever the cases we saw till now.

mine also was updated in that time frame... was not updated at 7am and was already updated at 10am

I don't disagree. Makes complete sense but, OCD presides logic sometimes . The same happens with me.

The thing is, I've identified 2 possible times when the update happened in my case (once before 8 AM and once around 10:30 - 11:15 AM).

Your processing time starts the day we receive your complete application and ends when we make a decision.

If you apply by mail, the processing time starts when your application arrives in our mailroom.

If you apply online or in-person, it starts when you submit your application.

So, going by this, looks like IRCC's processing time KPI can be met just by either approving or declining the application ("Decision Made" status ) within 12 months. This might mean that the applicant doesn't really need to complete oath for them to meet their processing time KPI.

If this is true, then it changes things. I mean, they could provide a "Decision Made" status before 12 months and then make applicants wait several months before scheduling them for oath.

They also say that none of these processing times are valid in the event of a disruption such as COVID... so "here's our KPI, but also, we're not going to meet these KPIs"...

Also, from the tracker they are showing the application filed date as the day when they issue an AOR. Absolutely ridiculous they just do this stuff!!

No wonder they changed the application filed date. This might be the reason. Easy now to fudge KPI reports to management to show greenery.

They use their innovation and brain to fudge, not to improve their process/accountability. So cheap cic, damn...

Okay, so I just got off call with an agent now from IRCC. According to him, the webform response was probably a false alarm because he mentioned that the documents might have been received by IRCC but someone has to manually download the file and then attach it with the application.

He said that there is very little chance that documents weren't delivered - As long as the email shows "Sent" in my inbox, he assured me that IRCC would have received the email.

I also asked about the "Scanned Files" location in my GCMS notes and he didn't know the exact answer. However, he mentioned that it appears that my file has been digitized (isn't this done at the time of AOR?). He also said that the next update would be the oath ceremony letter if physical presence validation has no issues.

I just got my response to the Webform request and its the same response you got:

We verified the information on file and can confirm that your requested documents were not received by the responsible office yet.

I have responded back to the email request and resent the copies - this time w/o changing the subject. I have also requested that they confirm that they have received the copies. I certainly hope that the webform response is a false alarm.

My GCMS notes request is due by Aug. 7, so I should have more information then.

I'll be calling them early tomorrow morning for confirmation too.

I'd recommend calling a few days after to confirm it. My documents were "added" to my file after about 8 - 10 days after I sent it via webform request.

Sounds good. I'll wait a couple of days. I'm not too worried that they haven't received the files, but it's better to make sure.

I changed my address a week or so ago via the website. I then sent off an email just asking them to do the same. I got a boilerplate message back saying your address change has been passed on to my local office. I checked eCas today and it still shows my old home address. So they must have these address changes as pending before someone approves them.

Not even something simple that changing an address from X to Y is simple for these chumps

The quickest way to change your address would be to call them and change it over the phone. I've seen applicants mention that changing address on call is much faster and the updates happens in a few days.

I cannot slow things down any more than they already are. It makes no difference, changing the address. The IRCC have a specific change your address wizard so it should be a normal flow an application can go through. There is no downside to changing your address. If you provide your email address in your application, all correspondence will go there.
