May 2021 - Citizenship Applications

one of my close friend who had applied on Paper in Feb 2020 had his interview today. He had applied online for his wife last month in April. I had requested him to ask the interviewer about online applications and how are they being processed. So the interviewer answered him that - Online application AOR would normally take 4-5 months at least. But good news that the interviewer shared is "Online process has now been streamlined".

If you guys have any friends and relatives who has upcoming interviews coming up, please request them to ask questions about online so that we can hear some responses from CIC folks..

Thanks for this update. I am sure this will help reduce the anxiety for many, if not all, in here.

I went to shoppers to send my citizenship application yesterday via express post. They said unfortunately no signature upon delivery option is available because of covid and it would take 4 business days. I just checked the tracker today and it’s showing anticipates delivery date June 9th

Since we're all in a banter mood, I suggest you DHL or CanadaPost yourself as a package to them. They won't need any documents since they would have the original you. lol
