I just called embassy in Ottawa they said to email them the old patakas and they will provide additional info. Our problem is we don’t have any docs such as old residence visas or patakas they are all in old passports which are in Pakistan and parents are currently in Canada not easy to go back...

Thank you! So Qatar basically doesn’t issue at all prior to ten years? Or only embassy doesn’t? Would we have to show IRCC that proof that they don’t issue prior to ten years?

so my parents lived in uae in 95-96 and then 2004 to 2019- that pcc is easy for us to get. Pakistan-home country- pcc is easy to get Qatar-96-97. Don’t have those old passports with visas as they are back home my parents are currently in Canada on supervisa. How can we get this pcc?

Thank you. I guess I’m having trouble understanding the order of operations here. My understanding is the AOR asks for the PCC’s. Will they ask again too? At which stage will be provide the letter of explanation then? We haven’t received the AOR yet.

I haven’t recieved the AOR yet. But my understanding is that they don’t ask for the individual countries they need to PCC for? Please explain process a bit further as I’m very worried. God bless and appreciate your support

They don’t really request for individual countries I think. We didn’t get aor yet. They only ask for all countries where we have lived for six months or more

Would they still need it even if it’s such a long time ago? We did mention it it the application
