If an email for the test has been sent to you, is it also updated on the eCAS?

Not usually.. The eCAS remains 'in process' until you receive oath invite where it transitions to 'Decision Made'.

Hello People

Can someone please help me with the application? When I answer Q 9a ( TO date of the eligibility period) the application form shows me error mentioning that the TO date must be greater than FROM date.

I am also unable to fill out Q 15. This is so absurd and doesn't make any sense to me. Any help would be much appreciated!

Test invite is sent via email and there’s no mention on ecas.
Additional documents if asked, has ecas mention.

Yes, it has been extremely slow. There's is no estimate as to when anyone will be getting test invitation as it appears to be done randomly these days. As a matter of fact, people who submitted their application in mid 2019 are just receiving theirs. Again, it's random so we've also seen some 2020 applicants get invited to take the test, including one or two people from this thread.

I have been waiting more than 14 months for my ceremony ... I have done the test in feb 2020 and nothing yet ... If you applied by paper ... I am sorry to say this but you have been abandoned by IRCC

I think you should call them or send a Webform about this. Yes, the test is taking longer than usual, but the oath ceremony hasn't been taking that long; something isn't right with that, or do you mean you've been waiting for your oath ceremony since February 2021?

Believe me i have done everything i can and it is 2020 i sent webforms i spoke to the MP i called many many times ... Tbh i kind of gave up ... I even had an emergency and i applied for that ... But tbh now i know they dont care tbh ...

Actually the other way round, you receive oath invite after you’ve got DM.

Believe me i have done everything i can and it is 2020 i sent webforms i spoke to the MP i called many many times ... Tbh i kind of gave up ... I even had an emergency and i applied for that ... But tbh now i know they dont care tbh ...

I guessed as much. There's been serious issues arising from CVCs in Ontario generally. I hope they resolve yours as soon as possible. Stay strong.
