Renewal visitors visa

Hi,
My parents already had visitors visa for Canada. however their visa is has expired when I renew it. The application was submitted but there is no response since Sep 25th of 2020. They do not have any immediate family members in Canada. Is there a way we can expedite the process? or we just have to wait for the results?

No they are currently living in India.

They can‘t renew it if they are out of Canada. They apply for a new visitor visa. So if they applied for a new visa in September, they can raise a webform to ask the status of their application. No expedited process and if they don’t have immediate family, they can’t travel. What is your status in Canada?

I do not live it Canada.They just have visitors visa and they do not have any relatives in Canada as well.

So they can’t come to Canada anyways due to Covid, so there is no rush to process. If they applied in September for a new visa (can’t renew outside of Canada) and don’t know where you are from, then you wait.
