Thank you very much phanikiran.kara!
I am not exactly sure what AOR is but i guess it's 2020/07/10 according the letter i have received last month with this note "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2020/07/10. "
For security I gave by biometrics early in October, actually i am now in canada with an other work permit which i got 6 months after i submitted the pr application. What are security and criminality? I lived in canada for like 6 years and did not have any criminal record. And thank you for the suggesting to call them, but do you know which number it is?
Thanks again.
@ress -- Ok, so here is what happens when you submit your PR
AR - (Application received) - 2020/07/10
AoR - (Ack of receipt) - One Fine day in 2021/01/??
Eligibility check by IRCC - ?
PAL Letter (Pre-Arrival Services Letter) -- May or May not be issued to Inland folks. Dont worry too much about it.
Criminality Check by IRCC - ?
Security check by IRCC ? --> THIS IS A VERY VAGUE, TIME CONSUMING STEP.
Info. Sharing by IRCC - ?

The criminality checks etc are done by IRCC, not you. You just submit police clearance certificates. They are the ones who need to get convinced that you are a good person. They use multiple ways like Interpol, police records etc. You have no role to play during this process unless they ask you for something. So, call them using the number and instructions below and ask the status of each component above.

-- To avoid followup questions (as there are too many folks in this thread at various stages) --
IRCC number: +1-888-242-2100 (Once the introductory COVID speech is over, press 2-1-0 without listening to each thing that is being said).
Also, I tried 5 times and 5th time it said you are placed in queue. I gave my number and hung up and received a call back. Other times, system said that their agents are very very busy and asked me to hang up and mind my own business :) .

Thank you phanikiran.kara, you are the best! I was wondering if i can get any documents, something like eligibility letter in order to use for applying some grants after the phase of "Eligibility check by IRCC"?

You get nothing useful except AoR, PAL and COPR. The PAL is useless if you are already in Canada. AoR can get you bridged Open work permit for your next work permit renewal only if there are no conditions in your Nomination letter i.e your Nomination letter does not want you to work only for that specific employer.

The COPR document is the golden one that gets you all the benefits :)

Thank you again. I saw in your signature that your status changed into inland, did you do anything about it? Should I inform CIC that now I am in canada?

PAL is an eligibility passed sign. This is my personal experience, my friends didn’t receive pal and his eligibility is still in process. His AR is May15,2020, his upfront medical passed but, security, eligibility hasn’t started

Yes of course. First thing you need to do is update address using online tool --
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/change-address.html

Once done with the online change, wait for 2-3 days and check if the address has changed or not, here - https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas&lang=en

In parallel raise webform here https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx and request them to make your Country of Residence to - Canada and give them the new address (Even if you have done the steps above)

Nice ! Lemon juice on top of wounds for folks waiting for atleast a Ghost update.. heheh :D

If I were you, since they never mentioned that rule of 3 envelopes + since all three of you are under one application number + since its more organized and easy for them I would send in one envelope and definitely do overnight to avoid damage to the envelopes (less transit = less damage = more money = more careful handling) + take a tracking number + save that tracking history to a pdf file + save it in my document cloud for future reference :)

No I am not a CIPS certified engineer. I am Embedded software developer and my profession does not need CIPS certification. My signature does not mention anything about CIPS.

Why i didn't receive MR?
My AOR is Jan 5,2021.
Is anything wrong with my file.
Nothing wrong with the file. Just that every file's color, brightness, thickness, size and shape are different :). Patience ! It will come or they will ask you for clarifications.
