Same here the progress bar is missing also had a ghost update on Friday. May be things are moving.
Can you please tell me about your COPR issue date and whether it's expired or not? Did you raise any ready to travel web form before 23Dec. My biometric data is also missing in CIC login now.

Goods-to-follow is the list of goods that you plan to bring (import) later and are not currently carrying with you. If you are carrying your laptop with you while you enter, no need to include it in the GTF.
can you please share the url from we can download it and fill.

I got my COPR in March but could not travel to Canada. In October, I got a mail from IRCC stating that would I be able to travel in the next 2 months or would I like to travel later. Due to the pandemic situation, I wanted to travel later and responded accordingly.
Now I want to travel to Canada and I have tried sending emails to IRCC and calling the Canadian Embassy in India but to no avail. What should I do? Is anyone going through something similar?

Yes they can as AL email specifies that. However no one has experienced it yet as mostly people travel within their AL's validity.
That's how I interpreted that section within the AL. I hope someone going through this will share soon. Thanks for your reply.

Hello All,

I landed in Vancouver on Feb 3rd.

My flight was Chicago >>> Seattle >>> Vancouver

At the Chicago airport, I was not asked for any documentation since it was a domestic flight.

At the Seattle airport, I was asked for the AL, COVID-19 negative test record, a few COVID-19 screening questions. They also had me do a simple temperature check.

At the Vancouver airport -

The process was very simple. I landed at around 12.30 PM and not very many flights had landed before so the airport was nearly empty.

  • The first checkpoint was with the CBSA officer where I was asked for the AL, negative COVID-19 test record, ArriveCan confirmation #. The officer also reiterated that I would need to quarantine for 14 days and do a daily check-in through the ArriveCan app.
  • The next checkpoint was with the immigration officer to complete the landing process.I was asked for the old COPR & the AL. The officer printed out the new COPR and updated the address for sending out the PR cards. Then he requested for a Goods-to-Follow list. Tip - if you are going to include high $ value electronic items in the GTF, please have their S/N's included. Other then that, the entire process was very smooth. It all took less than 20 mins as there was no rush.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I'll be glad to help.
Hi @ssi1990, I'm also planned to fly from Chicago. Which airlines did you take? I was looking into Alaska Air but wasn't sure about their experience with expired CoPRs with ALs. This is a really helpful post in my case.

Well its pretty much the same situation from me too. However on Dec 21st I got a remedical request and on Jan 4th I got a 4 pointer email asking if I want to travel to which I didnt reply as they mentioned if you dont reply within 10 days we ould assume you are not able to travel within 2 months. I have some personal reasons to delay it however I am planning to do my medical in march 1st week.

Hello everyone,

I am new here. I want to share my situation and ask your opinions.

I got my original copr and visa (now both expired) before March 2020. I raised many rtt webforms and finally got a new valid counterfoil number on the gckey site. But I have not received any emails or messages about AL or PPR yet. I got my new number on the site in Dec and it is valid until the end of March. I have sent many webforms since then but still no reply. So I seem to have a valid visa/copr number but it is only on the website and it will expire again soon.

Is anyone else experiencing this? What do you suggest I do?

Thank you
Same situation. New COPR updated with an expiry of Feb 27. No AL yet.

Please don't judge the application movement by missing progress bar or biometric data. Look for ghost update where Application status is changed to "Application/profile is updated" but once you visit your profile then status changes back to previous state "Approved" or "Submitted"
