Solved: Passport returned from CPC-Ottawa w/o COPR or PR with no reasons

My wife also called IRCC today AM. She was told "your MP reached out to IRCC to make sure IRCC knows that you (my wife) are in Canada. You have done the right thing by following the instructions and sending your passport in. We don't know whether it's received/processed or not. Just be patient."

This is all we got today.

No signature is provided because of COVID
Canada post are not asking for signature
 
Return tracker activated this evening at 7pm

Received passports without COPR.
Called IRCC call center and agent advised that in queue for virtual landing. He said I should wait for a phone call but couldn’t give me a timeline.
