I received passport request. Not yet sent passport. I will send in couple of daysMy passport was delivered last Monday. I know it's too early for me to track the package.
What's your timeline?

Yes, tracking since 2 weeksNope. Just tried to track the Canada Post return package - Not available.
That's what you all are doing, right?
yesThe problem is that we don’t know what would be the next step. Will we receive COPR with passports? Will we be scheduled for virtual landing? Which office will grant us permanent residence, Ottawa or homeland office?
Call centre agents are unable to access our files and I have seen somewhere in this forum that a person waited for 2 months without any response and after emailing Ottawa-cpc they advised her that they did not receive her passport.
That uncertainty is soooo frustrating

I suggest you do what NDVO asked you to do.Hi everyone,
Can someone please help me out here!
I have received a passport request and I am an outland applicant (applied from New Delhi office). I currently live and study in Canada. Should I submit my passport to CPC- Ottawa? The email from New Delhi office says that I can send my passport to Ottawa ( if I live in Canada) but when I called IRCC agent by phone, they said don't share passport yet as process has changed and someone will just call me to confirm my PR and then provide COPR?
Could someone please advise whether I should or should not send passports to Ottawa?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bhavya
@Omega79 - Thanks for your response. Do you have any idea about the process, and how long does it take for them to return passport with COPR?I suggest you do what NDVO asked you to do.
If they said submit passport, then do it.
Personally I agree with @Omega79 , if your letter says submit, you are at least following written instructions you have. Call agents can be less reliable - althought that doesn't mean they're wrong, exactly.Hi everyone,

No idea... I sent passports 2 weeks ago and still waiting.@Omega79 - Thanks for your response. Do you have any idea about the process, and how long does it take for them to return passport with COPR?
Thanks so much for sharing this @armoured - this makes perfect sense.Personally I agree with @Omega79 , if your letter says submit, you are at least following written instructions you have. Call agents can be less reliable - althought that doesn't mean they're wrong, exactly.
On top of this - if they call you and you've already sent your passport, they should still be able do the process that they refer to above (or at least it sounds like it). Keep copies of your passport and other docs handy in case they call of course. So I don't see the harm in sending except for the inconvenience of not having your passport.
I believe a few others here have received similar comments from call agents, but I think only when they have called - i.e. don't recall any outland-in-canada applicants getting the instructions to just wait in writing.
And those that have - this is just from recollection of other threads - don't seem to have moved much. If they have a new process, they don't seem to have fully worked out the details - like some other announced initiatves and new procedures to spread work around, the new procedures don't happen automatically.
what is the status on canada post tracking ?Just called IRCC call centre, agent said that he can see that passports were requested but he cannot see that they were received by Ottawa-CPC.
So according to him it’s either they are not processed yet (I sent them 2 weeks ago) or they were not received at all.
The only answer he could provide is: just wait!
Sending tracker is package delivered on oct 28what is the status on canada post tracking ?
