Yes, but they are responsible for their own healthcare cost. Don't think provincial healthcare covers visitor.
Get SuperVisa to bring your parents here ...Not going to vote for Trudeau anymore. Enough of this joke.
Get a supervise for your parents, I have my parent's sponsorship going in PGP 2019 and they are living with me since 2016.I’m just talking to those who have parents and grandparents on this thread

I think it might improve those people’s chances because all the people with supervisas wouldn’t be competing with them to get into the interest to sponsor que. if parents are already in Canada with covid going on and everything it might be more feasible from a humanitarian and logistical perspective to transition them to permanent status. This would open up more capacity for the govt to focus on applicants that aren’t already in Canada.
But visitors go to our public hospital for emergencies don't they (even they are responsible for their health care)?
Despite birth tourist pay for their own medical cost, many people were against birth tourism!

To add on to my previous point. The key difference would be that this would be a temporary step in light of covid to ease pressure on the upcoming pgp process.
And what do you think the voters in this country would think if the Government suddenly started a influx of seniors into the country during a pandemic , when it’s been shown that the provinces can’t adequately take care of senior citizens already here ? Or that the waitlist to see specialists for some issues is now YEARS ?
People here seem to forget , economic immigration is one thing , a program that allows seniors into the country , is totally different. Adding, most Canadians aren’t even aware there is such a program
And once again, could someone please post a link where the PGP program is in legislation or guaranteed to be held each year?
The reason it’s never been posted , because it’s not
