Hi guys,
Is there anyone here who got GCMS notes from Ottawa CPC-O?
Also, will the file be moved to local visa office for PPR or will it remain in Ottawa itself for FSW-O?
Two of my GCMS notes request are lost mid way. I don't have the patience to order again.
The webform response are standard and hasn't changed since May. Everything met and valid.

Does anybody have idea on how the Medical Extension is processed after expiry. As per CIC Agents it is on VO's discretion to give the extension for another year. I want to understand if VOs has the authority to extend it personally or they send it to a different department for the same. Also does GCMS notes states if they send it for extension. I am CEC Inland with AOR on 29th Jan. Every thing for me is passed except Medical is Passed-expired (medial expired for spouse). I am waiting for final decision since 11th June 2020 and wondering if expired medical could be the reason.

I will really appreciate if anyone can share experience or guide on this scenario

The medical extensions are at the discretion of the visa officer and depends on the applicants country of residence and the medical conditions prevailing in that country. For most applicants if the meds have expired in the last 2-5 weeks, and the application is approved, such cases will receive an extension.

For applicants whose application has been approved and they are waiting due to COVID, most of them should receive an extension. However, there has not been any official policy on this yet.

Hi all,
Just received my GCMS notes. Haven’t seen much movement since May 2020. The only diff is is that I’m now in Group # 2-TRG34LC, CN Covid pace and Type: PR-other. My initial group was 2-TPLFJM0, I still had Covid pace but without the CN in front and Type: PR-temporary processing. Also under Notes 1 it has Officer review: All requirements met, file ready for approval.

I am FSW Outland and my Vac office has been open since June 22nd on a limited basis.I’m just curious if anyone else has similar info.

I am Outland applicant currently in USA. AOR Feb 2020. I just received a request letter for passports. I have to mail our passports to Ontario. But I read previously few days ago, that passports are not being accepted at this point. What are other people who got passport request doing. Please share.

Congratulations! Just a question - you only get to know that your passport is requested by postal mail or over an email ? I haven given my office address for postal communication and due to COVID19, I didn't visit my office for two months. Your feedback will be very helpful. Thanks.

Officer is reviewing the results of your admissibility checks (security, criminality, medicals etc) which can be found on page 20-30 of your notes.

looking at your assessment snapshot. Security is blank and criminality is passed, eligibility has been passed by officer. Everything looks good. I’d say, the only thing that’s pending is the officer’s final decision.

Hello experts and andy, i am currently working in a company which is under going fraud investigation in uae. Some senior people in finance department including strategic management such as cfo and ceo along with BODs commited fraud and looted the money from 2010 onwards and ran away to their homeland.

I am also in finance department and joined this company only last year 2019 feb. Currently i came to know that investigation team put travel ban on finance people including me, to gather the information as much possible as they can.

So, My aor is 23 jan 2020, and currently file is in LVO.

Should i inform to IRCC, take legal advise from lawyer or raise a webform to address this current scenario?
